Former Pushor Mitchell Partner Steve Wilson has been appointed a judge of the Supreme Court of British Columbia in Kelowna. Steven Wilson was appointed to the Supreme Court on Monday.
Wilson attended UBC, where he earned a B.Comm. and an LL.B. in 1991. After articling in Vancouver, he was called to the B.C. Bar in 1992. He relocated to Kelowna to join Pushor Mitchell LLP in 1994.
In November 2015, Wilson was appointed a Master of the British Columbia Supreme Court, based in Kelowna. In that role, he heard many interim applications in family matters, foreclosures and other civil cases.
During his time in Kelowna, Wilson served as president of the John Howard Society of the South and Central Okanagan for more than 14 years. He was also President of the Kelowna Community Resources Society and Chair of the Kelowna Youth Soccer Association.
