Julia Norman is a lawyer with Pushor Mitchell LLP practicing in the areas of estate and trust planning, estate administration, and estate litigation.
Julia assists clients with a wide range of estate and trust planning including issues that arise with blended families, high net worth estates, protection of family wealth and the minimization of probate fees. On the litigation side, Julia has significant experience in bringing, defending, and resolving disputes with respect to Wills, Powers of Attorney, the administration of estates and claims under the Wills, Estates and Succession Act.
Julia received a Bachelor of Management (Honours) with a minor in Psychology from the University of British Columbia in 2014. Julia went on to graduate as a Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University with a Specialization in Business Law. Julia was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2019 and has since received the internationally recognized Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation through the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
Julia serves on multiple boards including the BC Cancer Foundation’s Interior Transformation Council and Trusted Advisor’s Circle. Julia also serves as a director with both the Kelowna Riding Club and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioner’s Okanagan Branch.
Outside of the office Julia can be found spending time with her family, riding her horse, waterskiing, or enjoying one of the many activities that the Okanagan has to offer.
