Miranda is an associate lawyer at Pushor Mitchell LLP. She practices in the areas of general civil litigation and administrative disputes. She has appeared before all levels of Court in British Columbia, and before several administrative boards, tribunals, and decision-makers. Miranda prides herself on assisting her clients with navigating their legal disputes in a calm and efficient manner.
In her general civil litigation practice, Miranda assists clients to resolve their disputes fairly and effectively. In her administrative law practice, Miranda takes on complex matters between individuals and corporations faced with disputes with regulatory bodies, professional discipline, and other administrative decision-makers.
Miranda received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Saskatchewan in 2018. She then completed her law degree at the University of Saskatchewan in 2021. Miranda completed one third of her law school studies in French to earn a Certificate in Common Law in French from the University of Ottawa.
During law school, Miranda summered with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Justice in Regina, SK. Prior to joining Pushor Mitchell, she completed a judicial clerkship at the Supreme Court of British Columbia in Kelowna. After completing her articles at Pushor Mitchell, Miranda was called to the British Columbia bar in December 2022.
Miranda is originally from Salmon Arm, BC, and is happy to have returned to BC’s warmer weather after spending time in Saskatchewan and Ottawa for school. Outside of the office, Miranda enjoys playing curling, snowboarding, riding horses, trying new foods, and spending time with her two pugs.
