On May 22, Pushor Mitchell LLP attended the 39th Annual Kelowna Chamber Golf Tournament Golf Classic. Perched up on the Hole Two par-five, our PM team got the chance to chat with golfers and offer refreshments as they tried to clear the hard dog-leg left on the 551 yard hole.
This year, Pushor Mitchell partnered with a representative from Enactus Okanagan College to funded a give away of their new Unusually Good hard cider (one of the newest products from Unusually Good Food Co.). Usually Good Food Co. was founded in 2018 as an Enactus OC project but has grown and pivoted since then. The organization aims to reduce food waste in the Okanagan by producing hard apple cider and apple chips out of apples that don’t fit the grocery store’s “beauty standards” and are often discarded.
Pushor Mitchell’s #PMCommunityDraw for the tournament saw two giveaways of a Pushor Mitchell tote bag, ball cap, and a four-pack of Unusually Good Cider for two lucky golfers.
Thank you to all those who attended, and a big thank you to Kelowna Chamber and Harvest Golf Course for making the event happen.
