Liz is an associate lawyer with Pushor Mitchell practicing in commercial litigation and intellectual property (IP) law, both contentious and non-contentious. In addition to being called to the bar in BC in 2025, she is also admitted to practice law in Queensland, Australia and England and Wales. Liz joined Pushor Mitchell as an articled student in September 2024, after practicing law overseas with an international firm in Australia and England, where she gained extensive experience in the areas of commercial litigation and IP law.

Originally from Ontario, Liz holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology (Honours Specialization) from Western University. She then relocated to Australia, where she earned a Juris Doctor with first class honors from Bond University. In 2023, Liz went on to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice at Oxford University.

In her commercial litigation practice, Liz supports clients with business disputes including breach of contract, business torts, and shareholder disputes. In her IP practice, Liz advises clients on their IP rights and handles IP disputes.

Liz is currently a Director-at-Large for Her International, a charity whose mission is to empower ‘her’ through education.
