Jarrett Mancell practices primarily immigration, corporate and commercial law, real estate, and wills and estates.
Jarrett advises clients on a broad range of Canadian immigration matters, including temporary and permanent residence, work permits, study permits, family sponsorship, and other immigration applications. He also assists employers and businesses with immigration matters involving foreign workers and other personnel.
In his corporate and commercial practice, Jarrett advises business owners and entrepreneurs on corporate organization and restructuring, commercial transactions, corporate governance, and general business matters. He takes a practical approach to helping clients address their immediate legal needs while considering broader business objectives, long-term growth, and inter generational wealth transfer strategies.
Jarrett also assists clients with residential and commercial real estate matters, including purchases and sales, financing, leasing, and related transactions. His wills and estates practice includes both personal and corporate wills, powers of attorney, representation agreements, and estate administration.
Prior to joining Pushor Mitchell, Jarrett practised at a full-service law firm in the Interior, where he developed a broad solicitor’s practice across immigration, corporate and commercial law, real estate, and wills and estates. This experience allows him to provide clients with practical advice that considers the connections between different areas of law.
Jarrett holds a Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta. He also holds an LL.M. in International Business Law from the Catholic University of Lyon and a Master 1 from Université Lumière Lyon 2. He was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2022.
Outside of his practice, Jarrett enjoys staying active and exploring the outdoors. He spends his time hiking and biking in the warmer months and skiing and snowboarding in the winter. He has a passion for languages and is fluent in Spanish, and enjoys travelling and exploring new places, with a particular appreciation for the Interior and Okanagan.
