Claire MacLeod is an associate lawyer with Pushor Mitchell practicing in both employment law and commercial litigation. Claire takes pride in providing practical advice and common-sense solutions to obtain the best results for her clients efficiently and fairly.
In her employment practice, Claire assists employers and employees in workplace law matters, including wrongful dismissals, severance pay packages and negotiations, human rights complaints, and drafting employment contracts and workplace policies.
In her commercial litigation practice, Claire assists businesses with disputes involving breach of contract, negligence and other business torts, franchise law, and shareholder disputes.
Claire graduated from law school at the University of Ottawa in 2019. Following law school, Claire completed her articles with Pushor Mitchell and was called to the bar in 2020.
She is proud to support the community as a board member of both the Central Okanagan Elizabeth Fry Society and the Okanagan Community Health Society.
