Liz joined Pushor Mitchell as an articled student in September 2024. Prior to joining the firm, Liz practiced law overseas in Brisbane, Australia and London, England with an international law firm. During that time Liz practiced in the areas of commercial litigation and intellectual property law (contentious and non-contentious).
Liz grew up in Ontario, and she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology (Honours Specialization) from Western University. She then moved to Australia and attended Bond University on the Gold Coast, graduating with a Juris Doctor. Liz went on to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice at Oxford University in 2023.
After deciding to return to Canada and relocate to Kelowna, Liz wrote the exams required by the Federation of Law Societies of Canada to obtain a Certificate of Qualification. She is pleased to be completing her articles with Pushor Mitchell and assisting clients with their legal matters by providing efficient and effective solutions tailored to their unique needs.
Liz is currently a director-at-large for Her International, a charity whose mission is to empower ‘her’ through education.
