On Earth Day, the staff and lawyers at Pushor Mitchell partnered with the City of Kelowna in the clean-up of Mill Creek Linear Park. Outfitted in safety vests and armed with garbage bags, gloves and garbage pickers, over fifty PM volunteers invested their time and put their skills to work cleaning up the grounds of the park.
Earth Day is an annual event, celebrated on April 22, on which events are held worldwide to address local environmental issues. It was first celebrated in 1970, and is now celebrated annually in over 170 countries. It is estimated that more than 6 million Canadians take part in events and projects on Earth Day.
