Pushor Mitchell was pleased to host the Downtown Kelowna Association (DKA) After 5 on Wednesday September 20, 2023, and by all accounts it was a resounding success on this 50th anniversary year for the law firm.
Lawyer Thomas Eaves, a board member with the Downtown Kelowna Association, spoke on behalf of the firm and shared its history from humble beginnings in 1973 with two lawyers, and currently with 37 lawyers and over 100 staff. He spoke to the importance of giving back to the community, and of our relationship with the charitable community as well as organizations such as the DKA.
Thomas presented Giada Millard with one of the winning door prizes.
Over 200 attendees attended the event on a beautiful late summer evening, and were treated to catering from The Art of Fine Catering, wine from Summerhill Pyramid Winery, beer from Rustic Reel, juice from Stoke Juice, and musical entertainment from Zach Griffin on saxophone and Megan Frederick on bass guitar.
