Brent will speak on the topic “How brain injury and other disabilities can affect spousal support and other Family Law related issues” including how disability of a minor can impact child support; disability & spousal support; and persons with disability – what are they entitled to?
Brent Coyne is a member of the Litigation and Family Law group at Pushor Mitchell. He assists clients whose family issues may not be suitable or otherwise conducive to mediation. He is primarily geared towards resolving disputes through litigation and has successfully argued cases at all levels of court in British Columbia. However, Brent recognizes that all options ought to be available to his clients through negotiation, mediation and litigation, or a combination of these approaches when appropriate. Brent is an active member of the Trial Lawyers Association of BC, the Canadian Bar Association and the Kelowna Bar Association.
