Pushor Mitchell was the Performance Sponsor for Opera Under the Stars on August 3, 2023. It was a magical evening where more than 1,000 people enjoyed the melodic sounds of well-known operas on the lawn of UBC Okanagan’s courtyard.
Pushor Mitchell lawyer Alison Cathcart, a board member with Opera Kelowna, addressed the crowd on behalf of the firm, along with Opera Kelowna Musical Director Rosemary Thomson.
The evening’s opera singers performed almost two hours of entertainment, with attendees treated to musical storytelling at its best with songs that included Mozart’s Così fan tutte, Rossini’s Le Barbier de Seville, Lakmé’s The Flower Duet, Leonard Bernstein’s There is a Garden, and much more.
