On May 4th, our offices will be closing at noon to participate in the annual spring Pushor Mitchell United Way Day of Caring, a program that connects volunteers with projects in the community.
We will be helping with spring yard clean-up, painting and other labour-intensive tasks that non-profit organizations do not have the time or resources to complete on their own. These organizations include: BrainTrust Canada, CMHA, Downton Youth Centre Boys & Girls Club, Habitat for Humanity, Kelowna Women’s Shelter, Okanagan Boys and Girls Clubs, Pathways Abilities Centre, Rutland Boys & Girls Club, Salvation Army, Society of HOPE, The Bridge Youth & Family Services and The Clubhouse Farm.
