Pushor Mitchell continues its support of arts in the community this summer with its sponsorship of West Kelowna’s Music in the Park. This free to the public, eight-week concert series runs from the Friday after Canada Day until the weekend before Labour Day at the Annette Beaudreau Amphitheatre in Memorial Park. Enjoy the exceptional music by artists hailing form the Okanagan and across Canada as they perform music from a variety of genres. Headlining artists this summer include: local international touring blues artist Kenny “Blose Boss” Wayne, Victoria’s 11 piece fund/soul band The New Groovement, local rockers The Wheely Nawties, international touring blues act the Sue Foley Band, local soul/electo act Sammi Morelli, local groovy folk band Tiger Moon, Montreal based eight piece klezmer band Oktopus and West Kelowna’s own rising star Ben Klick!
The performances all take place on a stage with a spectacular backdrop of Okanagan Lake and the Monashee Mountains. 2018 marks the seventh annual Music in the Park! The City of West Kelowna is on site with Park and Play activities set up in the field next to the stage and food vendors are on site! Bring your blanket or lawn chairs and join us this Friday through to August 24!
