He is licensed to practise law in British Columbia, Alberta, and Washington State. Prior to joining the firm, Bryan practised law in Fort St. John, B.C. and in Washington State in both Federal and State Courts, working primarily in criminal defence and personal injury.
Bryan obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (with Distinction) from the University of British Columbia. He then attended Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon, where he was awarded his Juris Doctor. Bryan was admitted to the Washington State Bar in 2008 and became a Member of the Law Society of British Columbia in 2012. He was called to the Bar in Alberta in 2025.
In his personal injury practice, Bryan acts exclusively for plaintiffs and assists clients through negotiated settlements, mediation, and trial. He has experience navigating complex injury claims involving WorkSafeBC, out-of-province insurers, and ICBC. Bryan has handled claims involving legislation such as the Strata Property Act, the Occupiers Liability Act, and the Health Care Costs Recovery Act. He frequently works with a range of medical and rehabilitation experts—including orthopaedic surgeons, neurologists, physiatrists, and occupational therapists—to support clients in their recovery and to help ensure they receive fair compensation for their injuries.
In criminal matters, Bryan represents clients on a wide range of charges, from white collar offences to driving-related matters under the Motor Vehicle Act and the Criminal Code of Canada. He has completed the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Standardized Field Sobriety Testing Practitioner Course and applies this training when defending clients charged with impaired driving offences, including those served with Immediate Roadside Prohibitions (IRP) and Administrative Driving Prohibitions (ADP). Bryan has experience retaining expert witnesses to assist in criminal defence, including digital forensics experts, psychologists, DNA experts, and toxicologists. He has conducted both judge-alone and jury trials in criminal matters in British Columbia and Washington State.
Bryan also assists clients with Canadian and U.S. immigration matters, helping individuals and families live, work, and visit across the border. His practice has a particular focus on business immigration and start-up visas for entrepreneurs in both Canada and the United States. Having lived, worked, and attended graduate school in the U.S., Bryan brings first-hand experience and practical understanding of U.S. immigration law and procedure to his clients’ matters.
Bryan is actively engaged in his community and currently serves as President of the Greater Westside Board of Trade. He is also 2nd Vice President of the West Kelowna Minor Hockey Association, and sits on the Board of Directors for the Trial Lawyers Association of B.C.
Outside of work, Bryan enjoys fly fishing and spending time outdoors with his family. He previously represented Canada as a member of the Canadian Junior National Water Polo Team and continues to enjoy playing the sport when time permits.
