Kyle joined Pushor Mitchell LLP as an articled student in August 2022 and is developing a practice in tax and trust law, estate planning and administration, business law, and civil litigation.
Kyle grew up in Lumby, BC, and spent several years in Kelowna where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of British Columbia (Okanagan) in 2017. Kyle then went on to obtain his Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta in 2022, and was called to the British Columbia bar in May 2023.
During law school, Kyle attained a fellowship with the Faculty of Law, where he taught first-year law students the fundamentals of legal research, writing, and oral advocacy. Kyle also participated in several volunteer organizations, including Student Legal Services, where he represented low-income individuals in criminal matters. He was Associate Chief of the University of Alberta Student Union’s independent bylaw tribunal, where he heard and decided disputes regarding student government. Kyle also participated in the 2022 Adam F. Fanaki competition law moot, where his team won awards for written and oral arguments.
Outside of the office, Kyle tries to stay physically active; you can find him on hiking trails, at the gym, or spending leisure time on a lake or beach. Kyle also enjoys painting, cooking new cuisines, and spending quality time with friends and family.
