Tickets are still available for the “Pushor Real Good” Dance Party on January 21st at the BNA Tasting Room hosted by Pushor Mitchell and Grant Thornton in support of the Central Okanagan Hospice Association (COHA) and its annual Swinging with the Stars fundraiser. Tickets include entertainment by DJ Invizible, Asian fusion appetizers from BoxcAr, 2 drinks and a night of bustin’ a move for a great cause. There will also be live auction items including a Track Day at Area 27, courtesy of August Motorcars; Prospera Suite Night for 10 at a Kelowna Rockets Game, courtesy of Pushor Mitchell; and, a helicopter tour, courtesy of Okanagan Mountain Helicopter.
For the first time, Pushor Mitchell has a team participating in Swinging with the Stars. “Pushor Real Good” is made up of eight lawyers who will be performing a hip hop routine under the guidance of professional dance instructor Jen Large. “COHA plays a very important role locally by providing a community where no one has to die or grieve alone,” says Pushor Mitchell Managing Partner and COHA board member Joni Metherell. “We are pleased to have a team in the event as our firm is about more than writing cheques – we try to get involved in the causes we support,” she adds. Similar to Pushor Mitchell, Grant Thornton is a strong community supporter. “We’re proud to support this incredible organization, and our community.
