Pushor Mitchell lawyers Andrew Brunton and Ron Solmer participated in the Rotary Club of Kelowna’s annual fundraiser, the Stober Group Rotary Pro-Am Golf Tournament fundraiser along with Braedon Humphrey and Adam Hutchens from CIBC, and Harvest Golf Club Associate Pro Jason McKinlay.
This year’s event took place May 16, 2023 at the Harvest Golf Club, and raised over $100,000! Over the past 30 years, the tournament has raised over $2 million for reinvestment into the local community. The primary recipient of funds to be Freedom’s Door, a non-profit addiction recovery organization that supports both men and women. Funds raised will also be used to support scholarships for students at Okanagan College, UBCO and School District 23, education & literacy programs and mental health services.
