We are pleased to announce that Melodie Lind has become a Partner in the firm effective January 1, 2015.
Melodie’s practice is focused on tax, trust and estate planning. She provides assistance on matters ranging from the preparation of straightforward wills to providing complex estate plans and tax advice for high net-worth individuals, business owners and individuals with assets in multiple jurisdictions. A personal and professional priority for her is to serve clients who are disabled or whose family members have disabilities. Melodie also assists with a broad range of corporate matters, including incorporations, tax-driven reorganizations and shareholders’ agreements.
Melodie completed her Bachelor of Arts Degree (Psychology and Criminology) at Simon Fraser University and her Bachelor of Laws Degree (with distinction) from the University of Alberta. She has also completed advanced tax training through the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Canadian Bar Association.
